Chris has over 30 years Industry experience, including 15yrs in Local Government, supported by qualifications and/or studies in Accounting, Business Management, Real Estate, Land Valuation, Town Planning and Sustainability.  The tertiary training has allowed Chris to step beyond the traditional ‘town planning’ role and take on greater responsibility as a Development Manager, firstly with Landcom, a State Owned (Development) Corporation, and then in the private sector with Crighton Properties and self-employment.

Chris has a strong network of industry stakeholders and sits as the Deputy Chair of the Central Coast Chapter of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA), and is a current Board Member of Regional Development Australia, Central Coast.

Chris has also worked closely with a number of Local Aboriginal Land Councils and other Aboriginal bodies since 2010, and is proud to be part of the team that led to NSW planning reforms in 2019 with the introduction of SEPP (Aboriginal Land) 2019.    

Chris has been involved with numerous rezoning and development applications across the Central Coast and other regions, exposure and experience with a number of Land & Environment Court Actions, preparing submissions to draft policies, project management & planning advice to Local Aboriginal Land Council’s, project input towards corporate governance & financial reporting requirements.
